Barcelona Tour Guide
Barcelona Travel Trips with Kids
Like many Latin cities, Barcelona is a wonderful place to take children. There are many activities and tourist attractions for young travelers. Children are also welcome anywhere. The Mediterranean countries have a different approach to taking children out at night. It is common to hear happy children running around the piazzas or their parents out for dinner. You should not miss many attractions if you're traveling to Barcelona with children. These are my favorite family activities in Barcelona, but singles or couples can enjoy them.
Barcelona's zoo is one of my favorites in Europe. It is located within Ciutadella Park and makes for a great day with the kids. There is so much to do and see; make sure you allow yourself plenty of time. The Barcelona animal park will have the usual animals and the dolphin feeding show. You are in for a treat, so don't be afraid to get up early and not sit in the first row. There is plenty of splashing happening. The pool access is limited, so arrive early to get in line.
The pony riding facility is a popular attraction in the children's zoo. It's a great activity that my son remembers the name and breed of his pony even two years later. You can even rent an adventure playground that children can use to disperse their energy and climb while parents recover their resources.
Tibidabo is an amusement park located at the top of Collserola Mountain. It is worth visiting just for the stunning views of the bay and city. It is an amazing adventure to go up there. Tramvia Blau is an old-fashioned wooden tram that's been used for over a century. It takes you to the Funicular entrance to continue your climb up the steep hills. The views from the top are spectacular, so be prepared for a thrilling climb. Many more views at the top are captured with your camera, as well as the amusement park's entrance.
If you need more guide to travel Barcelona then should you read this blog https://www.froogloid.com/travel-to-barcelona-the-dream-city/The Aquarium of Barcelona was average. It lacked an appeal, and I expected more from a pricey entrance ticket. However, the interactive section upstairs is quite appealing for children.
The IMAX cinema is a great option if you're not feeling lucky or want to spend a few hours with your family and entertain them; it's a good choice. The tickets are affordable, and there is a wide selection of 3D movies. Running with Dinosaurs was a great movie that we enjoyed last year.
Mont Juic Park is an excellent place to relax on Sunday mornings, enjoy the view over Barcelona, and have some fun racing up and down all the steps that connect the different levels.
Visit the Poble Espanyol while you're there. It is a fantastic replica of Spanish villages with many architectural features. The Poble Espanyol has been well maintained, and no cars are allowed inside. Children will love exploring the narrow streets, and adults will find it relaxing.
It is worth visiting the Olympic Village, which may even have a sporting event. Last year, the Corte Ingles race was underway, and runners started their race from the Olympic Stadium. It was incredible to see so many people start their runs from such a large stadium with Olympic history.
